  6. Cookies.
We may use Cookies to provide some of the services on our Website.  “Cookies” are pieces of information that a Website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes.  Cookies make web-surfing easier for you by saving your passwords, purchases, and preferences while you're at our Website.  The use of cookies is standard in the Internet industry, and many major websites use them to provide useful features for their users.  Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer.  We use cookies to tell us, for example, whether you have visited us before or if you are a new visitor. The “help” portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to adjust the settings for cookies, but remember though, without browser cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of all our Website features. The Website may also contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel or clear gifs) that may be used to assist in delivering cookies on our Website and allow us to count the number of users who have visited those pages and to deliver services. We may also employ web beacons from third parties in order to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our operations of our Website.  This information is only collected in aggregate form and will not be linked to your Personal Information.

  7. Log Files.
Like most standard websites we use log files. These includes Internet Protocol Address (“IP Addresses”), browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, user navigation and traffic in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. An IP Address is a number that automatically identifies the computer or machine that you are using to access the Internet. The address enables our server to send you the web pages that you want to visit. It may disclose the server owned by your Internet Service Provider.

Personal Information collected by our Website is stored in operating environments that are not available to the public.  We employ the use of built-in firewalls (a combination of computer hardware and software) to help keep unauthorized users from accessing information through our computer network.  However, no system can perfectly guard against risks of intentional intrusion or inadvertent disclosure of information sent to us. Moreover, when you transmit information via the Internet, your Personal Information will be transmitted over a medium that is beyond our control, and therefore the security of the transmission may be compromised before it reaches us.  If you wish, you may contact us instead by telephone at (213) 694-1250.  If a password is used to help protect your accounts and Personal Information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone.
